Features and Support
As a full-service human capital measurement solutions provider, Infohrm members have access to:
End-User Training
The flexibility to design your own measurement training agendas...
Infohrm provides members the flexibility to design their own training agendas. Our human capital measurement training modules and methodologies have continually evolved and can be tailored to the specific needs of each organization’s target audience. Examples of standard modules include Basic Human Capital Dashboard Navigation, Advanced Navigation, Data Definition and Interpretation, Data-Driven Communication, and Change Management.
End-user training is an integral component of any human capital measurement initiative and ensures that analysts are comfortable using data to test hypotheses, support business cases, and improve line manager decision-making.
To support these objectives, an Infohrm membership includes training typically directed at the organization’s “data producers” with a view to creating internal measurement expertise prior to rollout across identified “data consumers”. Training formats may include webinar demonstrations, onsite computer-based training, and case study workshops.
Power users and dashboard administrators should consider attending Data Certification, Advanced Analysis, and Administrative Functions 1 & 2 and are encouraged to adopt a train-the-trainer approach to sustain training beyond the Infohrm-led sessions.
Infohrm also runs public workshops on many of these measurement topics; member organizations may choose to send 1-2 individuals to such events, further embedding critical measurement knowledge with networking opportunities and peer support. See the Upcoming Events calendar for public workshops in your region.
Measurement Workshops
Topics range from selecting key performance indicators to planning data rollout and utilization...
Workshop objectives can include:
- Clarify key stakeholder roles and responsibilities
- Create data utilization communication and reinforcement plans
- Nominate human capital analyst “data producers” for metrics training
- Build change management plans to guide data utilization
- Review existing workforce reports for Infohrm to automate
- Align human capital key performance indicators with organizational, business unit, and HR priorities
- Identify organization-specific workforce segments for more detailed analysis
- Map out Infohrm deliverables and commitments over the next 12-24 months

Annual Performance Reviews
Customized reviews of your data to ensure that talent initiatives are on-track...
Infohrm conducts annual scorecard reviews to equip business leaders with the insights needed to maintain course and speed towards organizational priorities. Reviews may be broad (e.g., across an entire executive scorecard) or narrow (drilling into a small set of related metrics) according to member needs.
Members work with the Infohrm team to plan the content and timing of their annual review, which provides the opportunity for a neutral party to review your organization’s data and identify performance gaps and root causes in advance of annual strategic planning or budgeting exercises. The review includes an analysis of results, recommended next steps, and presentation of applicable best practices. It is typically delivered via a half- to full-day on-site meeting with the members’ senior management team.
Data Acquisition and Integration
Infohrm’s data extraction processes eliminate the challenge of integrating siloed workforce data...
Infohrm has extracted, staged, and published data for hundreds of organizations. As such, our exposure to almost every HRIS and Talent Management system means that building your organization’s integrated data warehouse doesn’t require extensive implementation. Instead, Infohrm’s automated data extract scripts can quickly and easily be modified according to individual system configurations.
Data output files are transferred to Infohrm for processing via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) servers for data exchange. Access to the FTP server requires an individual username and password for each member. Each FTP account is accessible only by that member and by designated staff at Infohrm.
Data security and privacy is foremost in Infohrm's practices and to this end it is strongly recommended that all extracted data is encrypted prior to placement on the FTP server. The most common encryption package used is PGP. This product, combined with an exchange of secure encryption keys provides a high level of security for the data transfer process.
Infohrm constantly monitors the FTP server for the arrival of new data, which is then transferred to local servers where the actual data processing and preparation for publication takes place.
We are happy to work with members to arrive at an appropriate method of data transfer that meets internal organizational security requirements.
WorkforceHuman Capital Dashboards
One of several methods of publishing workforce data, the Infohrm human capital dashboard offers a structured, on-demand, source for all human capital reporting and ad-hoc analysis...
For many members, Infohrm’s dashboard is the premier portal for publishing their integrated workforce data. In as little as 12 weeks (from data extract to verified publication), members can transform their access to data, utilizing many of on-demand dashboard’s capabilities:
- Attractive graphical interface
- Intuitive navigation scheme
- Role-based security
- Standard and custom report menus
- Organizational structure drill-down
- Data cuts by analysis dimension (such as “high performer”) and time period
- External benchmarks
Infohrm provides training for members’ initial dashboard rollout and can refresh the data according to monthly or quarterly schedules.
Advanced Reporting
Move beyond structured analysis and into custom queries...
Infohrm’s proprietary Report Designer tool enables power users to create, modify, and publish custom workforce reports drawing on their organization’s workforce data asset. A simple drag-and-drop interface speeds adoption and dramatically increases reporting efficiencies.
Organizations wishing to move beyond the structured analysis of the human capital dashboard can utilize tools that provide full unstructured query and analysis abilities. These capabilities can be designed around your existing software licenses and user skills. A popular option is an Infohrm-hosted data cube accessed by the member over the Internet with a third party reporting tool.
Service Centre Support
Help is only a phone call away...
Infohrm staff are available around the clock to provide assistance with members’ human capital measurement and analytics initiatives. Team members can assist with such issues as using and interpreting workforce metrics, best practices in report design, and ideas on building effective executive presentations.
Advice for the initial implementation and definition of users, rollout strategy and maximization of value in everyday use of your workforce data is also available and we are available to provide assistance for advanced analysis within your organization. Scheduled site training sessions, at your offices, are also available to our members.
