2nd Annual European Infohrm Conference
18-19 November 2008, London
'Workforce Analytics - Windows of Opportunity'
“Are we, as HR professionals, focused on the business or the function of HR?”
“In the years ahead, will we be able to look back knowing we have made a positive impact on the success of organisations through people?”
These questions formed the basis for the 2007 annual conference and the 2008 event is set to further expand participant’s knowledge of leading-edge HR concepts, focusing on opening your windows of opportunity in workforce analytics, planning and reporting.
This year’s conference is all about execution – a key challenge is recognising opportunities and successfully making the change needed to create insight, deliver impact and create HR solutions optimised for the workforce of the future. Delegates are treated to a variety of topics from the foremost international and domestic HR thought leaders as they introduce the latest developments in HR strategy, technology, tools and techniques, including:
Making a Difference with Data
A forensic view of understanding, creating and using analytics to improve business outcomes. Case studies and examples of advanced analytics in action. Read more ![]()
This conference stream will take a forensic view of understanding, creating and using analytics to improve business outcomes. It will feature case studies and insights on the range of analytic applications and techniques available and provide opportunity to discuss and learn more about the applicability of these to your organization. While the focus will be on demonstrating the link between HR and business performance, the stream will also cover approaches to using scorecards, Markov analysis, linkage research, applied statistics and developing compelling stories.
Building a Human Capital Metrics Capability
Having good data is necessary, but not sufficient for success. Build the foundations needed for data driven decision making through changes in people, process and systems leveraging metrics, analytics and reporting. Read more ![]()
Infohrm has researched and grappled with the Human Capital Metrics (HCM) utilization challenge – if we build it will they come? We firmly believe that while access to good data is an essential building block for creating a human capital metrics capability, it will not guarantee success on its own. Without sound analysis, insight into business impact and compelling communications, enterprises can undervalue the real impact of human capital on the organization and its bottom line.
This stream will build on the information foundation and focus on the people, processes and platforms that enable and drive sound strategy development and decision making. Participants in this stream will hear from presenters who are actively addressing the HCM utilization challenge and we will share in some of their hard lessons and valuable experiences.
The Conference will be combined with your choice of two optional workshops:
- 17 November – Introduction to Workforce Metrics and Analytics
- 20 November – Data-Driven Decision Making (Master Class)
Join some of the world’s leading organisations at the most exciting European workforce analytics event of the year!
