Over 320 organizations answered the Infohrm 2008 Workforce Planning Survey giving an insight to the use of workforce planning in respondents' organizations. These companies included Cadbury Schweppes, Colt Telecommunications, Ministry of Defence and Pepsico International.
The survey focused on the value and outcomes of workforce planning. It concentrated on workforce demand and supply forecasts beyond the immediate budget period and alignment with business planning and strategy. In particular it looked at how organizations carried out workforce planning, their reasons for doing so and the degree of integration with other business strategies. It also looked at what interventions they were able to make and the competitive benefits that they were able to gain.
Peter Howes, CEO of the Infohrm Group, will discuss in more detail the findings and conclusions of the survey in a free web conference at 10.00am on Tuesday, 2nd September 2008.
Peter, with over 25 years experience in this field, is recognized as a worldwide expert in both workforce planning and analytics and has worked with numerous organizations within this field.
